Mossberg Print tour

The smell of ink and the noise of the presses is intense. It is amazing how fast they churn out printed material.

More student work

So here's some more student work. We studied different graphic designers, gave powerpoint presentations, and made posters in the style of the designers announcing the "wishful" date that they will appear at Andrews. Some would need to be resurrected.

Process books...some finished 2 min. before due! (impressive)

The Intro to Graphic Design class was assigned to make a symbol for an endangered species of their choice. After that, and a few months later, process books were made. These are a couple examples of students work.

Design for the public good

I have a passion for doing design for non-profit entities. This past Thursday a group of five proactive students piled into my minivan and we drove to the University of Notre Dame and listen to a presentation by Kent Smith (Western Washington University) who presented on “Design for the public good.” Cool stuff. Now I get to implement his ideas here.
